First you need to determine how many DPI (dots per inch) will be used when the file is being printed. To keep it simple, lets say the printer output resolution will be 200 DPI. If your image file size is 2,000 X 1,600 you will be able to get a quality print size up to about 10 X 8.
Jul 03, 2017 · A high DPI mouse can also be paired with a low sensitivity setting, so the cursor won’t fly across the screen when you move it but the movement will stay smooth. High DPI mice are more useful if you have a higher-resolution monitor. If you’re playing a game on a low-resolution 1366×768 laptop screen, you don’t necessarily need that high DPI.

DPI is never a measurement for precision. DPI only raises (for example 800 to 1600 DPI -> Mousesense 1 will be as fast as 2) . But some mice had the problem that if you use a too high dpi their precision will suffer because of low quality sensor. So like Vie said: Use the native DPI value and take the sense you are comfortable with,

Im using 800 dpi and mouse sens is 0.9 on osu settings. But mostly im offering 1200 dpi insteaad of 1600 to you its more better i guess Last edited by Sayounara ; May 2, 2016 @ 5:58am The higher your DPI is the more your cursor moves when you move the mouse, so the higher the DPI, the more ‘sensitive’ the mouse, from a hardware point of view. If your mouse is set to 800 DPI it will travel 800 pixels (‘counts/dots’) on screen per inch of movement on your desk.
The aspect ratio is the proportion between the width and height of a resolution. Aspect ratios are used by both display devices and video content. The following are the three most commonly used aspect ratios: 4:3 is used primarily by analogue TV broadcasts and older flat-panel and CRT displays. Typical resolutions include 800 x 600 and 1600 x 1200.
Oct 24, 2018 · And still, the 1080p resolution doesn’t leave much to complain. You could say that 4K is the next in line for the throne after Full HD. You already have an insane resolution and picture quality with Full HD, and now you have 4K resolution. The 4K (Ultra High Definition) resolution offers 2160p which makes it better (obviously).

DPI is short for Dots Per Inch and it actually refers to printer dots per inch. These days, when used in photo software, it means PPI, which are pixels per inch. DPI and PPI are two different things, yet often DPI is used when PPI is meant, so read its usage in context. PPI is a measure of how a image is printed to a medium such as paper.

Mar 23, 2012 · A mouse with 800 DPI can count up to 1/800 of an inch of movement while a mouse with 5000 can count up to 1/5000 of an inch. Better say, if a mouse has 4 CPI, it means mouse has to move four times for every inch it travel. A standard mouse has DPI in range of 400-800 while it can go up to 10,000 in high end mouse.
Even cheap mouse today have at least 1600 DPI, which is enough. Higher DPI than that is hard to control the cursor position. If you have high pixel-density screen, such as Mac's Retina Display with 300 pixels per inch, then you probably want higher DPI. First-person-shooter pro gamers often prefer low DPI, as low as 800 DPI.

Aug 14, 2010 · Not correct. 1 sens / 4000 DPI equals 4 sens / 1000 DPI. As long as you are under 50% windows sensitivity you are getting 1 to 1 tracking. The only difference between the two is where the information is discarded, with the lower DPI the onboard controller of mice does all the discarding whereas with the lower sensitivity the OS does it.
1600 dpi at half the ingame sens will give more "increments" per mouse movement, which generally is better assuming it doesn't cause other issues. (In older games, higher dpi causes more negative accel which is bad). All mice have a 'best DPI' setting where the sensor works ideally. Use whatever that setting is for your mouse (needs some googling).
